yeah you need that fender rolling tool. and use a HEAT GUN! or your paint will flake like crazy when you push that back up. its not crazy body work, we "drifters" do that all the time. its standard for us how we fit our wheels. that's also why we "stretch" our tires over the rim, so the cross section of the tire is more like a trapezoid, not a square. more clearance from the fender when the suspension compresses.
like this... l /_____ / \ l l l l l l l l \_____/ not this l /______ l l l l l l l l l l l______l also some camber will help. and try a smaller width tire up front. i would only go maybe two sizes wider than stock. you will still have more grip, but not catching your fenders on aggressive turns. i have taken chunks out of the tire too, but to me that just proves my fitment is perfect. anyway good luck with those and keep your ride the same hieght! just roll the fenders and maybe pull them out a bit! |

i think its about 1" lower than stock, but the gap between the wheels and tire is not the same as if it were 20" wheel. its pretty low but the 22's make it look not as low.
so i should be good if i just roll the fenders? dont raise it up s bit? i think the suspension set in a little since when it was origionally put in. i ordered my new tires. got the pirelli p zero nero. 305/30/22 rear and 265/30/22 fronts. smaller aspect ratio but same width. if raise hopefully the lower series tire will keep the same look.

just springs?probably not. but it could happen if it were lowered to the same distance fron the tire as mine was. im also running wider tires thsn the stock. it shouldnt happen with the stock tires, but you never know

I have mine sitting really low with the stock tires and no problems at all. The tires sit inside the fender pretty well. Of course if I hit ahuge pothole or something crazy happens there is a chance something bad could happen, but no issues with everyday driving.

"Lowering" is a lot different than "Slammed", which is what I'd consider the OP's car. His is tucking tire, and his offsets have always been very aggressive. Kinda strange to see the front take a hit in that location, I've seen other cars much lower than that never hit a fender before. The rest of you, don't fear lowering. If you have the proper sized tires and wheel offset, you can get away with a lot. Just don't go too low

I am lowered on pedders Xa all the way down with 22's 265/30 front and I have hit a few good bumps and nothing like that has happened to me. Maybe your offsets are really aggressive
