Got My Recall Notice Yesterday..
Should I get it done?
Could your insurance cancel you for not doing it? I know I can't sell or trade my car until its done but I like my bayonet

Just bring one Key...tell them you lost it.
You'll get 2 new keys and have the old one

Funny.. I got one also... but actually purchased the car after the stop sale order and was given the new key. Hell, due to the shortage I was only given one key - they still owe me.

Got mine today too. Talked with Parts guy when I bought my zl1 pump and LS9 cam. Told him not going to do it. He said it's my car, my choice.

got mine too, was looking at key fobs on ebay and explorer lots out there 3 button and 4. most don't have key cut, some don't have electronics, Even saw some on camaro5 for sale.

received mine yesterday as well. i thought the original issue was that there was too much weight on the ignition switch having the fob built into the key. if they just take the key out of the fob and then give you a new key and a ring to attach your old electronic minus the key FOB so how is that going to help with the weight. However, the notice i got told me the issue was the possibility of bumping into the key with your knee and thus moving the key away from the run position
