My new Camaro SS LS3 with 426 HP is the highest HP car that I have ever owned... but definetly not the fastest! My '04 Commemorative Z06 LS6 (405 HP) was the fastest, weighing in at 3044 Lbs. The '02 convertible LS1 (350 HP) MN6 weighed in at 3226 lbs. and is about equal to the performance of the Camaro. Of course the answer to this is easy... the Camaro is a very heavy car! '04 Z06 HP to weight= 7.52 '02 Vette Conv=9.22 '11 Camaro SS=9.15 (est 3900 lbs)
Still love the Camaro!

My fave, the '06 Z06 LS7 comes in at a fat 3500+ w/505 HP stock

Indeed..if I had a Z06 I would never have traded in for a camaro but I guess we all get tired of everything. Human nature

I got rid of it in 2005 because of a divorce!

I still laugh that my car has more HP than my 3/4 ton truck. And yes- this Camaro is the fastest thing I've ever owned.

I'd trade for a Z06 any day. Love the camaro but too heavy. The camaro does look awesome in it big size though. I guess you can't have a big car and light at the same time.

Yep. No Corvette has weighed 3500lbs since 1982 when the C3s were still being built.

its fun to say i have more HP than a ls7 Z06, but then a Z06 will destroy be in a race. because the camaro is heavy.

c6z06's dont weigh that much. thats actually way off lol its more in the ballpark of 3200 lbs
