I wonder if the massaged the fenders a bit that's why? They are running 20 x10's up front with a 285 tire which does not work on the current SS because of the spring perch.

There is more to a ZR1 (of the Vette), and in this case a ZL1 than just the motor. The Aero package is just a small piece of it. As I mentioned in my other thread about not wanting to be a poser, I would never ever put a ZL1 badge on my car if I used the front fascia. Without everything else that makes it a ZL1 it is not a ZL1.
