Some of you may remember the essay I posted titled "Thinking about returning my Camaro". << http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...king+returning >> I emailed it to my dealer and he loved it so much he sent it to GM.

I received the following email from a "Social Media Associate" for one of the GM marketing companies:

My name is _____ ___________ and I am contacting you on behalf of General Motors regarding the "Thinking about returning my Camaro" email you sent to Greg Bruner at Bruner Motors, Inc. We thought it was fabulous and wanted to find out if you'd be comfortable with GM using your comments on their blogs and also with local media. We thought it would be a fun way to tell the Camaro story through the eyes of an enthusiast and would love to have your email featured. Look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Of course I told her to go ahead and use it.

They edited it a bit (I guess "butterfly farts" is offensive. Who knew?) but they're going to use it on-line in blogs and other marketing situations.

Please let me know if you ever stumble across it "in the wild".

haha, that's great. Personally, I think it's great how corporate actually seems to be responding to regular consumer's questions and activity over the internet. I sent a few communications to GM over the internet over Facebook and through the Chevy web site and they actually responded, with non-generic answers that actually helped!
