Insect Problem

This can be a long story,..... but to keep it short and sweet.

Can fleas enter a car that has been secured ( doors lock, and windows rolled up).?

Yes, insects and spiders of all kinds can enter a vehicle. Vehicles are not water tight and have plenty of 'holes', gaps, etc. for little critters to gain access to the interior.

Dam...... your right, I forgot that spiders some times get into our cars.

OK, what would be the best method to get rid of these little bastards.

Never had to deal with the issue myself, but here's an article that may help you out:

Good luck.

I rent out houses ..I have had tenants that leave and have had flea issues to the point of wanting to burn the places to the ground ..

DISCLAIMER : I never tried this on a car …. do this as a last resort at your own risk.

I have found 1 option that has always worked on carpets ..sevens dust ..put some down pat it down into the carpet and leave it for a day or so (stay away) ...two things you NEED to remember wear a mask and gloves , you don't want inhale that stuff or get it on you and make sure you have a really strong vacuum on hand to get it all out ..shampooing the carpet after the fact could end up being necessary.
I found that (at least in a house carpet) spraying for fleas often doesn't get down in the carpet where they seem to be hiding

Get an ice pick. Light the interior on fire then stab the fleas with the ice pick as they jump out of the car.

Flea spray on the carpet. It dissipates over time. A lot less harmful to you than seven dust. Bengal makes a good spray that does ants and fleas with no odor. No oily residue.

Fleas, eggs, and larva die under 37 degrees. Just leave it outside the first cold night here soon and you'll be fine.

Get a Cat, put some Advantage Flea Killer on her and throw her in the Car. The Fleas will be gone, but the car might smell like cat piss!

Find a flea motel, scrape off some bed bugs and put in the car.

It's a well known fact fleas and bed bugs war. Once the fleas have been defeated, leave your car in the sun and the heat will kill the bed bugs.

I don't know what to do.

We had some one from Orkin come in to clean out the House, which is not that bad, and clean out Both garages.

After inspecting the garages, he informed us that he had never seen anything this bad.

I might have to wait, like NSXMATT, and the Orkin guy suggested, till winter hits to remove and clean up this mess.

Get your interior steamed and vacuumed? I’d think steam would be hot enough to kill them instantly

DIOTAMACHIOUS EARTH!!

Get the organic kind, not chemical, at any feed or pet store. Its a powder you can put in all of your interior. It won't harm your interior and it's not hazardous to humans or animals. It does clog up the filters on vacuum's though so you'll have to clean the filters a few time.

good luck!
