Need advice on a cold air intake system

Hello,
I need some tips and advice about cold air intakes. I already have the cherry bomb extreme exhaust system installed and the next step is an intake. I have no idea what I am looking for however. I have read threads on this site that speak highly of brands such as Injen and Cold Air Inductions. But there seem to be several different models. What are the differences and are they needed? These two brands seem to be pricey (350-500) I have K&N intakes on ebay for 250-300. Are these any good? Im not on a budget per-se but I don't want to spend money where its not needed. Basically I am looking for any tips, advice, or experiences that could help me make my decision. Thank you.

I have the K&N and love it. All of the CAI's you hear about here are good ones, just personal preference mostly although there are a couple of them that need a tune. K&N does not. But in the end it's your choice.

I've got Airaid on my wife's Charger and on my Camaro and have been very satisfied with them. Very easy to install as well.

If you actually want cold air, the injen is the only CAI for the 2010....

some new tests have been ongoing in regards to these types of intakes...keep an eye out for the results...probably tomorrow.. could help you save some $ and or make your ride a bit nicer for hp and performance.

My personal opinion is get one with a closed box or one that snakes down where the stock washer bottle is. I personally do not like that the open boxes rely on the hood to seal up the box. I know there are a couple having sealing issues, but I don't recall which ones were having the problem. Research is your best bet. There are TONS of threads on here about the pros and cons. In the end they will all make roughly the same power. Me personally I am looking at IAT(intake air temp.) I will be looking closely at this when the
V8 Jannetty Cold air testing is done.

Try a search. There is a heck of a lot of info on CAI's on here. Many have posted Dyno numbers to give you some guidance.
