Someone told me that I should leave everything alone and just change the main exhaust pipe and I would get some mean sound... any truth to this?

You can do the muffler delete and it'll sound pretty healthy. I've heard it and it's a pretty easy and inexpensive way to get the better sound. It should also drop a tiny bit of weight.

Hey I have the same system and it is awesome. I have a question though. Do you have the 2" headers? I have the 2" and have run into a small problem. The rear pipe sits very close to the steering and when making a right turn will sometimes (under torque) bump the rubber fitting and clamp. Has anyone else run into this?

Ordered mine last week with 2 inch primaries will let you know as soon as i get them on. Did you install them yourself? Also did you reuse your factory gaskets? Just trying to get an idea as i will be installing them myself.

Decision made. ARH Stainless to stock t/pipes and stock mufflers. Sounds really great. Nice rumble without all that cracking noise. Tag, it did sound good though. If I was 40 years younger I'd go for it.

I actually felt that grinding feel as well.

Let me ask you this....since this is what I have found out...

Have you ever driven a car w/ stabilitrac before?

I ask, because, I was told this might be the problem.

SHO NUFF....I turned it off and ran it at about 25mph and did a hard right turn. Guess what...no "rubbing" feeling.

The stabilitrac will make it feel like it rubs. Give it a go. Turn it off and try your hard turns n' see if it continues.

I have not had ANY issues since turning it off....not once.

Not yet. I got the 2 1/2" installed a few days ago. I'll put up video tomorrow.

It's a bit quieter. I'm thinking of ordering the chambered from Tom and putting those on. We'll see.

sorry....LT's have 2" primaries.

The pipes are 3" all the way out the back except for inside the new mufflers where they are 2 1/2".
