Muffler delete VS Flowmaster catback.
I have Borla shorties, Solo high flow cats and Flowmaster catback and love the sound and performance. I'm considering going with a quad rear diffuser and new tips which means going to my exhaust shop to have the tips installed after I put the new diffuser on. Since it will be in the shop I'm thinking of removing the Flowmaster mufflers and having the shop do a custom muffler delete along with the new quad tips.
What differences will I notice by removing the mufflers? If I unbolt the mufflers and remove them from the rest of the catback system will it sound the same as muffler delete? TIA

If you can get just the mufflers off it will sound very close, the tips will change it some..

Agreed...went from the stock tips and a muffler delete to a muffler delete with 8 inch long 4as inch tips and I could definitely tell a difference in tone.

I've done both. I have video of both back to back and the difference in tone..
