Price on a new rear bumper? I hit somebody today!

No pics because I am to pissed at myself and I'm about 12 bud lights into posting this. Plain and simple I backed into some piece of crap Scion. Prob going to have to replace the entire plasic bumper. Anybody know how much one of these cost WITHOUT the back-up thing installed? Jesus I feel like crap. My baby already has battle scars and it hasnt even eben a year yet.

Man, sorry to hear about that...

But, I have a Scion, (of the non-crap variety) soon to be traded in on my Camaro. You are welcome to use it until repairs are made to yours. I'm in Brazil anyway... I traded in my piece of Crap Dodge Truck the first time gas hit 3.00 a gallon and have enjoyed the 31-33 miles per gallon economy driving 13 hours to work, when I still worked in the Gulf...

I hope the insurance co, and more importantly the body shop takes good care or your car...

I wish my car (#13122) had the backup sensors! I'm in the same shape as you. My wife was backing ours out of garage to wash it in preparation to run it through a parade and she backed into the door opening and door track of my garage. Anyway to answer you question: The rear bumper cover is $357, and the rear lower bumper moulding is $100. My total cost is just under $1000 to repair. I have to wait a few more weeks until they can fix my baby.

$750 is the average price today for a new painted bumper to be replaced, parts and labor.

You didn't say anything about cost to fix the other car. Did you take off?
