Another ZL1 oil catch can thread. This time with the Moroso brand.

As several people on this thread may know, I've been trying to get a CC on my car since I purchased it back in the end of March of this year. Unfortunately though I pissed away almost 6 weeks of my time after being lied to from a certain vendor that I don't even care enough to mention his name.

So, I then ordered an Elite CC but I wasn't too thrilled about the limited mounting options so I decided to return it. I then read JRE's recent thread on the Moroso oil catch can so I decided to give it a try. After all, I figured if its good enough for Ted's ZL1 then it's good enough for mine.

So here's a few pics of what comes in the kit followed by installation pics. I must say the can looks of very high quality even though its not quite as big as some of the competitors. That's no biggie because I won't have any problems draining it a little more often. I also chose this can because it comes with an excellent mounting bracket system that puts the can within my reach. I'm in a wheelchair which means I can only reach down in to the engine bay so far.

The can assembled ready for installation.

Sweet, mine is on its way. How clear were the directions? Especially on where to attach the hoses at because it is all covered up in the pics with the engine cover and other components.

It looks like there is no right or wrong way to hook up the hoses. Both sides of the can are the same. You'll see what I mean.

I would say so as long as Joe can read directions.

That does look pretty nice, I wonder if they would sell the bracket alone.

From a style standpoint I'd give this an A+. I'll be interested to hear how well it performs. If someone puts a clear filter on the outlet to monitor its effectiveness. I'm interested to see if it is an equal to the RX can.

Great pics and write up. Ordered mine on friday. Can't wait to get it installed. I've used catch cans on my 06 charger and my SS. Amazing how much liquid they collect.
