I've ordered and never received an email to confirm nor has my card been charged. I figured I will have least been sent my catch can while waiting for the T/B to be sent.

Phew - had to do some fancy footwork to be able to make sure I'm able to install the new throttle body on the night it arrives and ship the OEM one back the next day. I work for GM and am picking up a company vehicle tomorrow which means I have to leave a car in our parking garage unless I have someone drop me off at work. I swapped cars with my dad so he can enjoy my 5th gen for the week while I enjoy the company car. This also means tomorrow when I get home from work I can grab the TB off my front porch, drive to my parents' house and swap the TB instead of having to wait a week.

Only bummer is that means my dad's going to get all the seat time with the new TB instead of me!

That's okay - just think how much "seat time" he's given up for you over the years.

That's EXACTLY why I trade him vehicles whenever I get a company car. Let him drive my 5th gen for the week while his rusted out Chrysler mini-van (otherwise known as the rusted out Shaggin' Waggin') sits in the parking structure. On a side note - trading vehicles last time worked really well for GM. The point of giving employees a company car for a week is to be GM Ambassadors - we're meant to give our friends and family a more personal experience test driving whatever company car we bring home. A few months ago when I was going to have a company car, I let my dad have the 5th gen for the week while his van sat in the parking structure. I had a CTSv (

) for the week. During that one week of my mom and dad having the 5th gen, they contacted Becky D @ Rodgers Chevrolet and bought a 5th gen Camaro for themselves! The day I drove the van back to their house to pick up my 5th gen was the day Becky D drove their new car straight to their house to deliver it and get their signatures on the paperwork. Granted, the point was to help promote the vehicles we take home for the week, but hey a sale is a sale afterall!

BUT - I came here to say that I was VERY HAPPILY surprised when I thought "You know I haven't checked the tracking status since I got the e-mail on Friday..." so I opened the tracking status to make sure it was on schedule -- much to my delight FedEx shaved a day off of the original delivery date and it's out for delivery TODAY!
