Help with a backup camera
I installed a backup camera with the mirror and harness from ofer. I hooked it up and the screen in the mirror comes on but i cant see through it. Its very staticey and the colors are all messed up. Any help? I don't think its interference because the video wire isn't next to any other wires and the power is connected to the teal wire in the light harness and it is grounded at the ground wire in the light harness right now I just have the wire running from the trunk to the fuse box through the car its not covered by anything. Any Help is greatly appreciated I really want to get it working! Thanks! =]

The supplier needs to test the next one before he sends it to you......Mine works great. Is yours auto switch dual channel video? what else is it hooked up to a DVD player?

The camera works fine connected to the tv, so it must be the mirror or the harness, I have PM'd Ofer and I am looking for the guy (Cooper_Z71) email so I can contact him. My bet is its the harness.

Do you have a pic of what it looks like? if the Video signal is backward that can make a bad pic, i dont know how the camera is wired so i dont know what to say, dont think the harness is bad, if it works it works, if you like call me.

Okay I figured it out the harness got pinched somewhere in the overhead thing, I re-spliced it and now it is perfect ill try and get some pictures later!
