I am thinking about going and looked at the pictures from last year and it looked pretty cool. Just looking for some information on it.

Also, I haven't been to KC before; just wondering if there is a lot to do around the city?

May take ours over, went last year as an observer was great. Lots of cars! And yes there is lots to do around KC. Just depends on what you are looking for. Of course we have the best BBQ too.

Just sent in my application today...man, we need to get some 5th Gen cars out there. I called them today and they said they had about 7 5th Gens there last year...lets try to shatter that!!! Come on KC...it is an all Camaro show 1st - 5th Gen. and last year I think there were a total of 127 Camaros.

Noob Questions here: I've never been to a fest before. Since it seems I may need to apply, is there a fee? Do they have a site for this? What should I expect? Sorry if these are stupid questions. I live in STL and I think I could weekend vaca this event

Too far. I wish people did more events MID-West and not Upper or Lower West. ie. Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, etc. Sounds like fun though!

Hi, I have nothing to do with this event but I am going to show my car. From what I understand, the location is right next to KC MO. There is a $20.00 entry fee and if you get in before Aug. 1, you get a T-shrirt. It is only a Camaro event and last year they said they had about 120+ cars and 7 5th Gen cars and year before 150+ cars. Here is the site for the show and another link for a pdf file:

Also, if you wanted to head up Friday, let me know and perhaps we could travel together. Also, when I spoke to them, they said that the St. Louis Camaro club is going up there and I may talk to them and see if they are all heading up in a group; maybe we could join them.

I dunno if you were saying that more things should be done in the midwest instead of the states you listed (in which case I say )
or if you were saying those states are the MW and the others aren't (in which case you must be smoking something, and you should share)


....but THIS is the 'official' MID-west....but IMO I don't think Ohio, Indiana or Michigan should be included in that

Yeah I was saying the states I listed should have some more events (and considered to be the TRUE Mid-west). Hehe
