not sure of the hp gain

Ok fellas', here it is....this is what im planning to put into my 95 Lt1, (its bone stock right now) and i was wondering what kind of hp i will get from this stuff.

"shorty throw" shifter (cause the one i have has a "mile and a half" of space between gear shifts)
magnaflow full exhaust cat-back
cool air intake
new headers
new heads
new crankshaft
new cams
150 wet shot

any idea of how much hp these mods could possible get me????

Are you rebuilding your engine or anything? I just wonder how it's going to take that 150-shot.

I think the catback will get you about 10 RWHP, depending on style of headers, another 10-20, CAI will get you about 10+15, heads (who knows? You don't provide any information), tune (again, it will depend on the match between your heads and cam), and nitrous will probably get you close to 400 - 450 FWHP. It's going to depend a lot on how well you match your components. FWIW, I'd try to go with a set that's matched to running nitrous too. You might think about what you're going to do with your clutch and 10-bolt too. Unless you just put a high-power clutch in there, you'll probably toast it and as soon as you start to hook, that 10-bolt is going to go boom. You could throw a girdle on the 10-bolt to help it out, but you really need to keep an eye on that thing. Manual cars are very hard on these and adding the shock spraying will add will only lessen the life of it.

I like that advice. Never include forced induction without making sure your engine can handle it.

I like the advice except for the fact that radz lists 400hp with heads, cam AND nitrous.

hell if you want 400 hp on an LT1 throw a 125 shot at it and call it a day.

but couple of questions devildog...

where are you going for your heads?
we only have one cam in these motors....btw.

and why are you replacing the crankshaft? if anything replace the pistons and connecting rods with forged internals (esp if planning more than 150 shot of nitrous)

and you have a 95 pcm... there is no "chip" in tuning. its an eprom computer. the 93 camaros had chips to tune them. with these, you either mail it out or plug it in. depending on what month your car came out, you should have an OBDI pcm with an OBDII diagnostic port. (confusing... I know)

im military too, and believe me I know how little they pay...lol

or at least how much I actually see of it.... (my fiance has expensive tastes)

but check out
http://www.elliottsportworks.com/lt1.html

the LE2 heads/cam setup is damn good for the price. however, you have to send in your old heads to be inspected and if they are unuseable then you'll have to buy new ones... (so remove them carefully)

or buy a set of stock heads off ebay for $100-200 and send them off.
