Yes Va is illegal for radar detectors. On or Off - visable or in trunk, it becomes theres if they want it. Need a good way to hide one in car and use an led to alert. Maybe a future mod but will do speed limit. Set the cruise and practice for parade lap around town...lmao. Save it for the track saturday!

i know i want to be deep in the caravan. i just suffered a 137 in a 55 and a reckless during bike week & i cant afford another ticket or point for that matter.

Radar detectors do detect radar beams but are generally ineffective, depending on how the cop runs radar. Your radar detector is not fast enough to alert you. Once it alerts you you're most times already locked. Probably a good idea to do the speed limit.. traffic enforcement will most likely be stepped up for this event!
