does anyone else with an auto Camaro catch any kind of flak from friends/strangers? i have to say my friends poke fun at me quite frequently for not having "the third pedal" or "the man pedal". im not going to lie im not a seasoned stick driver so thats why i didnt get mine in stick, i didnt want my first manual car to also be my brand new 40 thousand dollar investment lol i can drive stick but im not a stud driver so thats why i got her in auto and im still happy with the car but the crap some people say really gets under my skin at times. "oh autos are for girls" "your Camaro would be cool if it were stick" "i could never own a muscle car in auto" "auto is cool but your car would be so much better in manual" it just amazes me that people will say this kind of crap. the auto and manual Camaro are nearly identical in 0-60 and 1/4 miles times (regular SS not 1LE SS) and BOTH have huge potential when modded. so why does the auto not get as much love? because of AFM possibly? I have bolt-on's and a tune so mine is TURNED OFF and i'm making 475 to the crank.. (my sig has my wheel hp and tq) im not going to lie i do sometimes wish i got her in stick because i did want it but like i said i didnt want my first manual car to be my brand new 40k car. sorry for complaining and ranting lol i just love both manual and auto Camaro's i dont know why some people talk trash for no reason. has anyone ever converted their auto camaro to a manual? lol

Don't worry about what other people think. How many of your friends that are giving you crap own a Camaro? My guess would be none.

i sometimes have to hear peoples mouths when they say why i didnt get a manual camaro. Those are the same people who complain on instagram/facebook about being stuck in traffic in (NY/NJ) and shifting being annoying. Not to mention not being able to put a large drink in their cup holder lol My next camaro(zl1) will be manual but for now ill enjoy my automatic

Standard- Automatic or pedal car. I drive an auto & don't care what people like. How many out there have driven 49 states 4 1/2 million miles 38 years accident free And can drive a 3 stick 18 speed quadroplex . Or better yet try shifting your Camaro with out using the clutch. Please don't say it can't be done.

i get made fun of here and there, but living here in the Bay Area where the traffic is notorious they understand why i went with an auto, plus the wife wants to drive it here and there so that's another reason.
I would have not chose it any other way. I love my auto.

amen im from long island NY so the traffic here is wild sometimes as well. i love my auto too, its fast as hell i dont know why people think because its an auto its not fast or not as fast as the manual.. i guess its all just misconceptions
