I was thinking that with some belt slip gone and the addditional 10%OD it might make 11.5psi and alittle more power.

Well I was wrong ended up making 10.7psi and still dropping to 9.7 but it made same hp 640 and did improve in torque 20-30ft lbs. acroos the entire RPM range to peak of 641 ft.lbs.

My question is I guess, am I at the wall for the Maggie where I need the spacer,102 TB and ported tub & snout?
You have Not Hit the Wall Yet.
You do Not have any Belt slip.
Your next step is a 102, you will pick up another 1 psi boost.
Then add the overdrive cog on the back and you will find the WALL.
You will make 14-16 PSI depending on front pulley and It will fall hard with RPM Past 4400 RPM

I can tell you, my car won't trap 130 as it sits.

Go look at the fast list and most people trapping 122-129 are running the same mods as I am and close to the same times with M6 cars. Dyno numbers are just that NUMBERS and a dyno is a tuning tool, as all are different and temps,CF,operator and so on. I have run my car on the same dyno since I started and use it for tuning and comparison.
I really could careless about the number it says as long as I can see a change when I make a change.

Around 700 in very cool air. In the heat it's good for 135/6. Last time on the dyno it only made 719.

I guess I should come clean. It's not really stock. It's the special edition 2010 Connecticut package. Only available here. Number 1 of 1. Only an extra $50k.

One more thought, if you dont' have a cog on the back it could be slipping there but not in the front.

I have the same cam and headers. With the OD cog, 3.6" jackshaft pulley

and 1/2" spacer im at 10.5 psi at 4400ft elevation ( Would be around 12psi

at your elevation). I fought belt slip until I got the OD cog and super

tensioner, two of my best mods yet.

I had the rear belt slip when we went up past 10.5 psi. I totally forgot about it.

I have rear cog, I tighten the belt some more today as far as it can go it hit the tensioner now there is only about 3/16 of an inch inbetween the tensioner and the idler so the tensioner has almost a full range. I leave for work for awhile on Sunday so prolly won't get to the track again until late fall if its open. But I will try to check it on the street, I bet it holds 11-11.7 now.

That is just a myth...started by slow cars....probably red....they seem to be the slowest.

Obviously I figured out I needed to tighten the belt for the 3rd time to get it right. But how can you say that(in bold) when I changed NOTHING but going from a 6 rib to an 8 rib OD crank and gained ZERO boost? Something had to cause it, like I said I tighten the belt a few more times after 100 miles and a few hard runs and it now holds 11-11.5 psi.

Just based on the information you provided.

typically when there is belt slip the boost falls pretty hard.

Glad you got it resolved.

I don't think it was slipping bad, just "new" belt slipguess.

Found Fix!!!
Custom idler pulley placed between HD Tensioner and Crank, increased crank wrap and eliminated ALL slip. Many people assume slip is from upper blower drive pulley alone. I tried every kind of pulley, belts, tensioner, including manual and tightening to the extent of knocking out bearings in the idler pulleys. Before this pulley addition I was experiencing major slip in the lower gears (quick rev's) and somewhat less in the higher gears where engine rev's at slower pace but non the less slippage that could be logged.
Belt slippage was not only limiting the power potential but made tuning (timing, fueling/MAF} tables impossible and inconsistant at best. This may not be needed for most setups but made my life a lot more enjoyable.
Can you post a picture of this other idler pulley you installed? I watched my boost today and 1st and 2nd gear only get 10 psi and once in 3rd and 4th it holds 11.7-11.9 ( I tighted the belt alittle more after my trip to the track). I think I am having the same "quick rev slip" as you describe.

If you don't care to share the info with the world I sent you a PM also.
