Im getting my car back from the body shop today after it was vandalized. Its gonna be rainy all day too. Any suggestions on what I should look for? There is another thread with pics of damage, mirrors and door needed painting, and blended into fenders and rear quarters.

make sure that the paint matches for sure. check for fish eyes in the freshly painted areas.

Check the mileage to make sure they didn't pull a ferris on you and take your car for a joy ride.

It looked good, but around the back side of the drivers side mirror it had what looked like paint flaking under the clear coat, they said it might be 'checking' which they explained as not cleaning or prepping the mirror good enough before painting it. Will pick it up Monday.

UPDATE. Had my car for a couple of months and kept noticing like a shadow runinng down the door. Took it to the body shop and he wasn't sure what had happened but agreed to repaint the door. So after several weeks they called and I took her in January 16th. They called yesterday about 2 O'clock and said it was finished and to call them back so I could pick it up or they would bring it inside. I called and arranged for my daughter to pick it up. I informed her to look it over before she leaves the lot; I figured if it wasn't exactly right, I could take it back again. So about 4 O'clock she calls and asks me if there was a rub mark and a dent on the quarter by the gills. WHAAAAAAAAAAAT? Apparently they parked my car right out front closest to the front doors where all the customers park to come in and out and someone let their door hit it. I talked to the owner on the phone, he said he took it inside and the paint is not damaged and the rub mark came off and he will have the paintless dent repair guy fix it Monday. When I pulled in the place, I parked my car to the left of the entrance away from the front door for this very reason. When I go to the store, well, we all know how we park our cars. When I park at work, I don't park in the lot, I park at a meter on a side street. I take my car to the body shop and end up with a freakin door ding. Unreal, I am so pissed. Why would they park a freshly painted car where all the in and outers are gonna park. I just don't get it.
Had to vent, sorry.

I got her back yesterday, I can't even tell there was a dent on her quarter, and the door looks GREAT! They cleaned out the inside and even took time to take my floor mats out and wash them which were pretty dirty. The owner of the shop told me I can bring her up in the spring time and they will give me a full detail for my inconvenience.
