Installed the Diode dynamics cup holder lights and foot well lights. Decided to do the leather shift boot on my automatic. Used the wires going to the factory led light for the original automatic shifter assembly.

I do have the abl. It like it, because it contrast with the blue, which so does the rest of the dash lights.

It is just cheap led pod light from advance auto. About $14, with double sided tape and wire tied the wires up under dash and ran wires down through shifter area and out.

Diode dynamics sends you everything you need. You will need a drill bit and some electrical tape. I was changing the shift boot at the same time so it was more involved , but the side panels of the center console come off very easy. Drilled a hole under each cup , making sure the light would cover that hole. BE CAREFUL!! There is a wiring harness under the cup holder area on my 2012, would assume the same on most.
Feed the wires through, and plugged into the transformer they give you. You can wire tap the automatic shifter led light, below its connection, or refer to the DIY section for other wires to tap.
