gills on the quarter panel

Its the gills on the quarter panels in front of the rear wheel. There are 3 indentations in the sheet metal there. From what I've seen so far, I think there should be black decals in each one of those indentations.

This is probably your best bet then. If you look through the random photos on this thread, you'll see some people have them and some dont. Its up to you to add in the stuff you want.

This one is actually a GM product, but its a lot more expensive.

Thanks. I'll wait to see what happens then hunt down a Herbert if necessary.

They all came with the car and were supposed to be dealer installed. Some dealers didn't put them on because they didn't like them. Same with the black engine covers, floor mats, and front splitter.

I think the car looks good both ways. I think I'm going to buy the decals and put them on, just haven't made up my mind yet. I have the black engine cover and the fancy floor mats. The front splitter - is that the black air dam lookin thing that sticks out the front?

That's news to me. I know they were dealer options, but I didn't know they came with it to the dealership. I expected it was more of a what the dealership had in stock.

Yes, and the Hot wheels edition had a specific part number for it, even though it was basically the same as the ZL1's. The only reason I know this is a shop actually showed me, and it specifically stated Hot wheels. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can weigh in more on that, maybe it was that shops computer system. But it was the same price as the one for the ZL1, so take that as you will.

I was at the dealership when the car was brought in, I even drove it off the car carrier and into the shop. In the car itself was the front splitter (black lower lip), floor matts in a box while the regular camaro matts were in it, side panel stripes (gills on rear quarter), black engine cover (it comes with the gray one on the car when shipped).

To all,

Maybe Fishman can answer this question. I am the second owner of my car and I was wondering if there is a special owners manual or owners books package that came with the Hot Wheels edition or was it just a regular 2013 camaro owners manual.

Thanks
HTWHLZ

Regular manual only , what we do have is a certificate of authenticity with the build number out of the 1524 made.

Fish-man, it might be a good idea to post the instructions for how to get the certificate on the first post.

I can transcribe it to text if you need.

I'm the second owner of my car. Has anybody tried to get the certificate of authenticity even though they wasn't the original owner?
