Question kooks or arh headers

haven't seen numbers on kooks. i have friends that have them and are happy. don't know anyone who has arh. from what i've read arh is the real deal. would like to get someone else opions and past experience. going to purchase one or the other this week.

I just got the ARH, I'm thrilled!
I got the QTP cutouts with the digital controller too, with the stock mufflers.
I'll shout for the ARH, I'm sure both (ARH / Kooks) are equally priceless. This should be the first mod for all. You wouldn't believe how good this car sounds at idle with open headers. No need for the horn either, push the clutch in and rap it, you will have everyone's attention, if you didn't already. I see people running through yards and parking lots to see...WTF was that?!

I went with KOOK. Had both at time of install and seemed to me the kooks fit and finish was just a little better. Very happy with them. Not sure on the numbers as I installed a stage III kit and did not dyno after every mod.

I had KOOKS on my TBSS, they were pretty good, but there (IMHO) was no comparison to the fit/finish on the ARH. Looks like according to alot of dyno's ARH make more power as well.

ARH are the best for the new camaro period, best power gains, best sound, best fit and finish and ease of install. These statements are just my opinion but they did publish dyno results proving quite substantial power gains.

You don't have to get a tune but a tune will help to get maximum horsepower. i don't believe they will throw any codes if properly installed but if they do that can also be fixed with a tune. I am by no means an expert but i think thats pretty accurate info.

I needed a code delete due to the cutouts. I'm getting tuned next week to optimize both "modes"
I'll post pics of the install later 2nite, I just got under it with a camera today

I'm gathering the proper recording equipment.
It will probably be next weekend before I can post it.
It simply cannot be captured on a camcorder mic, phone mic, or most others for that matter.
I have friends in low places, that can capture the bottom end. If you have a sub, this will make you very happy, and about 3k closer to broke.
The stock mufflers are very quiet, so this thing can really creep. On the highway, wide open, it sounds very good! Idling around with the valves open, just priceless, what I've always wanted. I think the cam sounds great.
