if your careful you should not have to re-align it. you may want to have it checked if it hasn't been done though.

Try having a V6 with an automatic and get a posi setup for it. 8 months of research and calls and still no "here is the answer" unless you want to spend $5,000.00+. Driveshaft is the issue for us to use a complete SS rear, because of the pin size of the output shaft from the automatic to mate to the front of the drivesahft. We are 1% but I'm not giving up yet, but I'm getting close to the edge of putting it all back to stock and selling it. Folks that are trying to help me with this issue are great, I'm just getting frustrated.

We spoke but it is about an automatic transmission equipped LFX swap. The pin size 14mm Vs 16mm from the output shaft is the issue. My comment on here was not to bash anyone either, just saying it is not a quick easy thing to do yet. I'm working on getting things together for this swap. The difficult part is going to be the car being apart while the custom shaft is being made. Just FYI for everyone Driveshaft shop even called after hours to discuss my plan for the swap.

i can provide some feedback for my brother in law... he is making about 600 rwhp and tq and he has had no problems with these new dss 1000 hp axles. His car is lowered and they fit perfect with no noise or anything weird... He has hammered on these axles and love how they have helped with wheel hop.
