Fuse pull
Before you start, yes I know it's meant for the v8 drivers. But I've heard a lot of v6 drivers doing it in the past. When I put on the black ice and throttle body I didn't unplug the battery. It's been a while but I figured I would try it out. Some v6 owners said it did work and they felt it. But that might be in their heads plus I heard somebody say if you were running rich it'd help the black sut coming out of the exhaust so I figure I'd give it a shot. I'm leaving it overnight and I'll drive it tomorrow and post what I think. Only thing that worried me was when I unplugged them the motor made a clicking noise for about 2 seconds...hope that's normal. I'll give you my thoughts on it ASAP figured Id try it and givecmy opinion for v6 owners that are curious.

Pulling the fuse just resets the computer. You will feel something but its because its trying to figure out your pattern. After 100 miles, it will act the same.
It will still run rich. |

I know this is not what you guys want to hear but he is correct. our ecm does not have high and low octane map. only thing fuse pull is going to do is reset your ecm. after about 100 miles your car will be back where it started. Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk |

Well it running rich really isn't my main concern lol I just did it to try it out, nothing wrong with that I'm about to take it for a drive...only reason why I did it was because I didn't unplug the battery when installing a few parts so I figured what the heck might as well do this and see if it makes any difference. love the car bmore! Very unique

I've done a few fuse pull when I tried to install K&N CAI and was getting a cell each time. Did'nt change anything. As for the clicking IMO it's normal. It happened every time I did the pull.

Well I could tell a bit more response, but they say that's normal until 100 miles or so. It was a nice experiment just for the hell of it now screw the fuse pull...I WANT a freaking tuneeeeee.
