Help, advice needed on repair!

Made this huge mistake this morning, not sure if I should do one of the following:

1. replace front bumper cover only, touch-up paint metal panel - notice that the metal part is actually bent inwards now
2. repair front bumper cover with touch-up paint only and replace metal panel
3. pull front bumper cover off, touch-up, and have metal (where bent) attempted to be bumped out to fix curve in it, and touch-up paint that, too

If you have experience with the costs involved, I'm a college student, and can't afford to have both the front fascia AND the metal panel replaced, so tell me what you would do if you have do choose, and what cost it would be to repair (I'd be taking it to a local dealer).

Thanks so much for your advice.

I got into a scuffle with a pole. I know, my bad. I just can't afford to spend $1000 fixing this mistake at the moment....

Course of Action 4: Take to body shop for estimate. Call insurance company.

A good body shop will fix that for a few hundreds only.

Completely agree! I paid $682 a few months ago for my dealer's body shop to take off the front bumper on my Saturn Sky Redline and have it repainted due to "chin" scrapes of the lower front bumper.

I would NOT report this to your insurance co. This is cosmetic rather than a "functional" impairment.

You MAY want to check with your dealer. We have a guy that does bumper touch-ups to all of our used cars and you could get that fixed for probably under $250.00. Our guy charges us $125.00 and does all of our bumpers.

White is a pretty forgiving color if the bumper guy is good. They can shoot and blend that in with little problem.

The bumper doesn't look too screwed up from what I can tell. I had a PDR guy and his buddy come out and take out a ding and respray the majority of the door (of my previous car) for $250...That's the way I would go about doing it.

Thanks everyone. My car will be scoped out tomorrow by a number of repair shops and hopefully will be repaired by the end of this week.
