I do like the stang, but the appearance is old and tired. I think the 5.0 has great performance, but you can't beat the capacity this car has to be modified and become a real monster....I would tell your buddy to take anything Ford has built to the track with the ZL1. I would imagine he would change his tone quickly...
I have owned Ford..and my work vehicle is a ford. There is something about mustang drivers here in FL that are absolutely terrible. Worse than anywhere else I have been in the south eastern states..they put one cat back exhaust on it, black out the lamps and think they are the pure hot s---.

Furthermore, BANDWAGONERS are those arguing for a car that is not even out yet. As it is, it can't beat a Honda Minivan, period. Do any of you have one to prove me wrong? Didn't think so. Has anyone posting here actually driven a ZL1 to state that it is faster than anything? "Some" of you are pure bandwagoners for saying the ZL1 beats this or that when you DON'T have one or will own one when it becomes available, or have a clue what the other cars such as a GT500 can do against it. Like the Saints or the Pats were huge favs to win the SuperBowl because they looked great on paper and the media said so...and the badwagoner came out.....well, we know what happened. I guarantee you, my supercharged SS or GT500 will eat up a heavy ZL1.

I have a great friend of 25yrs that does the same thing daily. It's how guys rip on one another. This is simple, googe 1993 Cobra problems/issues and do your homework on its flaws. Look up the specs of the standard SS vs the 03 Cobra. Have your guns loaded for the next opportunity and trash talk the chit out of is Found On Road Dead pusstang. Hell, I would love to be in your shoes!
