Are you required to use Torco with the Jannety kit? Or do you just use when you want to fully maximize the horsepower gains?

there are two 75 hp "kits"

one is no tune with Torco.

the other is tuner and pump gas only needed.

I don't have either, yet.

I'm considering Jannetty or (more local) Livernois, if I upgrade.

If your just going to cruise around and stay out of boost, you will be fine. Just remember, if someone comes up to you and wants to play, you will have to wait for another day.

This is good to know. I don't want to have a tune and also don't want to have to use Torco in order to drive the car.

IMHO, I think you should use torco or tune with the 75 RWHP because you'll never be able to "just keep your foot out of it". Be better to go with the 5% pulley and get the 40 RWHP if you don't tune/no torco. Just ask Ted to be sure.

the Torco band aid is really not necessary. If you swap the pulley, just do it right and get a tune!!! Stop messing around! Much safer with a tune which is what everyone is worried about besides warranty crap. Having the timing and air/fuel in the ideal zone is what is important!
