I did it to remove the gold bowtie which is too big IMO but also airflow. I may cut the gold out of the bowtie and then spray the chrome outer bowtie with a semi-opaque black paint and put it back in. |

Hubby removed the Camaro letters on the sides and blacked out the front/back bowties. Also Plasti-dipped the the ZL1 hood emblems. Looks nice all dark, gives it a more menacing look, IMO.

Izzat a L7Z? A one of a kind COPO, COOL! I bet you have a 7IO filler cap, too. I like the flowtie, bowtie cutout by Bone Stock; Nice Touch!! I'm getting somewhat annoyed that my MF towels are getting caught on corners of the badges and pulling threads out, but I'd like to keep the badges... ah... conundrum, conundrum Last edited by RiCorvette; 06-17-2014 at 08:43 PM. |

I really like the look of the grill with the bowtie cut out. That is super cool. I put a solid black bowtie in place of the gold one one mine because I think the gold is hideous but I like the look of yours better than having a bowtie in there. Less weight and more airflow too.

I think I will cut out my badge also. I think it looks nice especially on a black car. have to say thanks for sharing the ideas.

I understand the "Camaro" and bowties...
Why would you want to remove the ZL1 tags? It sets the car apart from all the other Camaro's.

That's my issue now after I removed my badges. Everyone is asking me if I have an SS. Picked up some all black badges to put back on soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I removed the Camaro letters and blacked out the rest, like the ZL1, front, back and hood. |
