Cutouts are not effected on supercharger tunes but not sure on turbos. ADM, Janetty and Livernois all told me that it would not matter if they were open or closed

That's correct on S/C, but they do on TT especially being right after the turbos. May not affect as much on single turbo, mounted in engine bay far away from the cutouts.

I could see myself using my cutouts less and less but still there is no other exhaust that sounds totally stock or no one would buy it so cutouts is the best way to go if you want to be real quiet therefore I wouldnt get tired of mine!

Is that the final location for the filter? That scares the shit out of me being so low to the ground....Avoid rain! lol Have you seen what water can do to your turbos when they are spinning at 100,000 rpm, might as well be rocks lol Sweet kit tho looks like a potential monster being born. Cant wait to see some numbers and times!

Yes, that is the final position.

The kit sells with an optional Skidplate piece that all but eliminates the water/dirt/debris risk.

Didn't see if the OP got it or not in the initial thread and pictures.

Easy to add later if it's a concern.

I've worked with this sytem (hands on) and the people who R&D it...Motiva Performance Engineering.

The work and time that was put into this system shows. A fantastic kit in either the LS3 or L99 Configuration.

Good luck and can't wait to see some "other" tune numbers....

He is talking about the timing portion of the tune. Any MAF car that is tuned properly should compensate for minor changes in boost level, elevation, etc.

To improve spoolup time, many factors come into play. One of them is timing advance. During spoolup you advance the timing and ramp it down as boost comes on, then ramp it back up. The cutouts generally will affect a turbo system especially if you are running through stock exhaust. It will spool faster and most likely pick up a few psi of boost. He was just suggesting you watch your timing during spoolup and don't have too much when the boost comes on earlier than anticipated.
