Do 5th Gens Come with Headers?

Hello Everyone

Just got my a new 2SS 5th gen so I figured joining a forum would be a good idea. I have a few questions for you guys cuz I can not find the answers on google. Figured this is the perfect place to ask them.

I got my new camaro with 3500 Miles on it so it was used. Now this being said here is why I bought it over a new one.

It has an aftermarket Hurst Shifter, SLP full exhaust with hi flow cats on it. It also has a BBK cold air intake. Now why I bring this up is yesterday I looked closer at the engine. It has headers on it. I know that in the past GM has used exhaust Manifolds. Did the 2010's come with headers or are those aftermarket too>? Figured someone on here would know. or all of you lmao..

Thanks for the info.

No....no tubular header from the factory. Stock would have been iron manifolds.

If you look under the car just behind the front wheel can you see a joint where four tubes come together into one. If so, you have long tube headers.

the good news about shorties is that there is normally a plate on the #3 primary tube that says which company made them.

You may want to check if the car has a tune or not, because of she does you don't have a powertrain warranty.

LTs give you much more rwhp and a deeper/louder sound.

Yea with the power train GM certified with a list of parts as is sold. The car not only has a power train GM put another 12000 mile bumper to bumper on it. I made sure that it was covered before i left with it and have paperwork on it so they cant go back on it lmao. Not sure if it has a tune but they have to cover it now cuz they certified it and gave me the paperwork for it. Kinda nice
