New here from IL - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ive visited the site in the past but never joined up for whatever reason (probably the fact im on over 20 forums already) but after meeting several members at Indy, I decided now was the time.

My name is Carri, I live in Urbana IL. I currently own a 1997 Z28, she's bright white with gloss black accents and black z06 motorsport wheels. Im sure some of you saw it at Indy. Ive owned a 69 ss, 2 95 z28's, an 88 that i did a motor swap on, and a 89 iroc before the one i have now.

Anyways glad to be here and look forward to meeting more of you!

I didnt get around to seeing all of the cars at INDY, If you got some pics that would be cool, sounds like an awesome ride.

Enjoy ourselves??? thats an understatement. What a weekend. Little to no sleep but well worth every bit of it. I havent been able to see quite a few of the friends I have met over the internet that share my love for the camaro/firebird in 2 years, so this weekend was amazing! Cant wait for next year even though Im sure my car wont be done, I will be wherever the g2g is!

By the way, I'm from Winfield IL, but right now I'm in Carbondale at Southern IL University.

That's right...she was right behind me to MY right in the staging lanes at Indy.

You can't miss her Camaro. I've seen it in her sig over on Z28.com so many times.....and then there I was...washing my car at the Comfort Inn and Suites when this white Z28 pulls in....

Dude...I KNEW that car!

Tag it was a pleasure meeting you and I wont ever forget the strange man from texas who knew me before even meeting lol.

The car will no longer be as you saw it at Indy or in the video's, its currently a rolling chasis getting ready for a new custom pearl white paint job with orange and black scheme...hard to explain exactly.

I dont have any scans of the mags it has been it because everyone else always beat me to it, but i can try to get some (most of mine are faded from car shows in the sun)
