Pigeon Forge Grand Fall Rod Run
I have been to Pigeon Forge before, but am making my first trip to the Pigeon Forge Rod Run next weekend. I am sure many other Camaro owners and Camaro5 members will be there. I do not know enough about the area to make a suggestion on where to meet. We will be there from noon Friday to about noon on Sunday. Is there a location date and time when we could all get together with our Camaros? Someone chime in that could suggest a location.

Yeah, I'm coming and I'd love to get everyone together...there are several pretty good places to eat there in Pigeon Forge...and ofcourse there are all kinds of places to pull off and hang out...BUT finding a place to park is nearly impossible. This will be my second time coming to this event...I'd say we could do a mid-morning meet in the parking lot of a restaurant that doesn't open until lunch that way we could get a prime spot IN Pigeon Forge, and be assured the lot would be big enough to hold us all.
Anyone else got any ideas?

Chili's is on the left about a half mile past Pigeon Forge city limits.
It's way before all the fun but you should have room to gather. Before that on the right you would have some room in the Wonder Works parking lot and the restaurant right next to it. This is just past the creek where the city limit sign is and just past the Five Oaks Mall on the right. Wish I could come but I'll be going to the Vols game. Have fun. |

IF YOU WANT TO MEET IN PIGEON FORGE THERE IS A PARKING LOT AT THE "OLD MILL RESTAURANT" I THINK IT MIGHT BE LIGHT #6 OR 7 LEFT ACROSS BRIDGE OLD MILLON RIGHT,PARKING IN BACK.

OK, given this should we set the primary meeting place at Old Mill Resturant and set the Wonder Works parking lot as a secondary location just in case the Old Mill lot is full? I am OK with about any time from Friday afternoon to Sunday at noon.
pharmd I got to see that TVS 1900!!!! Once we decide we may want to post in the general forum so more see this as well.

We are going sometime Friday morning. We have not set an actual time yet. If you want to drive down to Pikeville you are more than welcome to drive down with us. So far it will be My Camaro, a Saturn Sky and a built Cobra Mustang. OH yea a SC Camaro would be great to add in the convoy. PM me if you can make it and I will give you more info.

I saw this too, it looks like 50% to 40% chance of rain Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is going to be nice in East KY Friday and Saturday this is odd. If you have any suggestions on alternate plans please post. I do not think it is a question of getting wet, it is more a question of when. I am going to pack my washing supplies, but I bet the car washes will be packed if it rains. I will make it rain or shine.
