I was super worried that the MRT 2 was going to be too quiet at cold start.... So I went with the "Loud" verssion... AKA MRT 1.

I haven't installed it... but this weekend I am installing Long tube headers/hi flows, MRT 1, cold air inductions and a tune... Should feel like a whole new car!

Wish I could install headers on mine. Apparently the headers are integrated in the LFX engine.

Try installing j pipes. There are a few threads on mrt v2 drone elimination. Should help out with the interior noise/drone.

The exhaust gets better over time but I'll say during hot days the exhaust sounds deeper and according to how hard you push your car it will change tone cause your car knows how you want to drive it and will adjust accordingly. We have adaptive ECU's.

Anyone recommend a place to buy? Good price? Is $500 the norm or so? Everyone install themselves?

Apex Motor sports..I think this is the best sounding exhaust for a V6 engine..It does NOT sound ricey or over bearing. But it screams when you want it to ..
