I am ordering mine as soon as my dealer contacts me. I am in the top 5 on the list so I expect to have it as soon as they roll out and hit the lot. I just can't decide on what color to get.

NAv Gen V engine or a direct injection version of the LS3 which is rumored to exist

I will also b ordering on 13th. It will b easier to make a list of what I don't want than what I do. I won't be racing so a little extra weight isn't a big issue. I will doing some mods to gain HP anyway

I'm waiting for the inventory to be at a level where these uppity dealers, will be forced to deal, rather than steal.

Unless I lose my mind, (happened on Corvette) see it on the lot and have to have it.

I think initial quality will be fine, Oshawa is at the top of their class, for quality.

I will be waiting until the second year myself. It will be damn tough though, especially next summer. The main reason is I want to see what changes are made, new options and maybe a Z28 Model. Besides I've been saying this all along that each Generation gets better by the 3rd year.

Summer 2010 for me for 2 reasons. A) for HUD. B) I won't have the money for a decent down payment till then.

As soon as they hit the lots i will have mine. I have been driving my Chevy P.O.S. for far too long. I need a car that I am excited to drive AND a car that I can take over 100 mph and not have to put it in the shop the next day. ASAP for me. I got my new job so I will have a nice down payment for the dealer and no bills aside from my car note...I FREAKING CAN'T WAIT!!!
