This part is new in box, GM finally got it to me 3 months after ordering and I had already found the part somewhere else. This coil attaches to the back of your airbag, and is a very hard part to find w/o special order. If you recently changed your steering wheel and damaged this part, get it from me now. Thanks asking $40
