Question for other's using Trifecta
So up until this past week I've never had to revert back to the stock tune. I had to take my car to the dealership for some work so I went back to the stock tunes.
First question, I know Vince says that whenever he tweaks your tunes he's adding on to your current tune, so when going back from the stock tune to the moded tune do you have to load in each tune you have or only the most recent? I've been loading in every tune I have (that isn't stock) in the order I got them, only because I wasn't sure if the newest tune you recieve from Vince includes everything from your last tune. Assuming that each tune builds off the previous one, what about specfic tunes that are for turning of your CEL when you get headers, do you need to load that tune in too or does the newest tune include that (assuming you've already had the car tuned for after markets headers/cats). I don't know if all of this makes sense, it's hard to put into words.. Also, I've noticed since I've loaded in the tunes again (going from stock tunes to aftermarket), including the new tune Vince has for the +13hp, when I go WOT in sport mode in shifts at or right before 6,000 rpms in first gear. Not sure what happened.. One thing I have done that I wasn't sure on, was when loading in that new tune that adds +13 hp a box comes up and asks if I want it to tune the trans as well, I checked that, assuming it's an after market trans tune. I might try changing that tomorrow, but other than that I have no idea why my car is shifting at 6k rpms in 1st while in sport mode.

MT here so I don't know but what RPM is your car supposed to shift at in sport mode?
I do understand what you're saying and I would assume that the last tune would include it all.

Yes, you only need to load the latest tune, it includes everything.

Well it redlines at 6,700 I believe. I don't remember it shift at or around 6,000 before, which is why I posted here.

Install the tyranny tune again and you should be fine. It happens sometimes to me, too.

You would only load the last one... Should be one for Motor and one for Tranny.
Hope to see you again at the TX Camaro Nationals this Oct 1st and 2nd... more info to come... |

Ok, also I have a tranny tune that I've been using for almost a year now. But also when I load in Vince's new tune for the "+13hp" an option comes up to tune the tranny. Any idea what type of tranny tune it loads in?
