Not so much the car, but my wife. Since we have bought and modified our 2SS RJT with paint matched rims and Razzi GFX, alot of her co-workers call her the Vroom-Vroom lady. People (she doesn't know) have come up to her in the elevator and ask her if she is the Vroom-Vroom lady who owns the hot car. It's funny, cause she gets embarassed easily.

And sometimes, its not what they say, but how they look at the car. Several times when cruising down the road, we have had people completely stop what they are doing and gwauk ar our car and point at it, or just yell out "Nice Car!".

This car certainly has its looks and following, thats for sure!

Lately the dumb question has been, "Is it true that you USED TO HAVE a new Camaro?" I am storing it for the winter so.....whatever they want to believe.

The first night i had the car i road tripped it to Birmingham Al, when i got to my hotel at about 1 am and was checking in the little brunette behind the counter said " by the way... i love your mustang!!!"

Just the other day one of my high school girlfriends saw the car and kept saying NO WAY!!! Then she said you had better be glad your married and i like your wife!!!!

I get that on the bike a lot. I usually respond with, "nah, I actually bought it for the gas mileage" or... "Hell if I know. Once I grabbed third, looked down and I was doing 135 and then kept going until the end of 6th!!!"

or...anyone who's lived through the Gen X years will say,

"Bitchin Camaro!"

or... someone will say "I wish I could afford one of those" (yet they are driving a $35k sport utility/crossover).

A school cop was giving me a parking ticket in the parking lot last year and asked how much horsepower my Camaro had. I responded with 400 and he said "oh it's the turbo RS V6 model then?" To which I replied "No this is the V8 2SS model." I'm sure he is still convinced that I have a turbo RS V6 even though it doesn't exist.
