current 18" V6 Rims on 2010 2SS RS Camaro

Hello Group,

I made the jump and bought a low mileage 2010 Red 2SS RS manual trans. The car will see some winter driving in Canada. I wanted to confirm with the group if the OEM 18" x7.5" wheels from the V6 Camaro's will fit and work with the larger Brembo braking system. I am OK with all season tires.

Thanks

If you've got the roller skates sticking up on the front brake pads then NO!
No roller skates and I guess it's possible they'd work.

But you can run the 20" that are on the front on the rear to have the same size all the way around. I am thinking of doing this on my 2012 1SS as I would like to be able to rotate the tires and not have the treat almost wore off in less than 20K on it. I do not lay rubber, and do not corner hard. These P zero's just suck for tires in Minnesota

I bought the v6 18" rims from a friend to install on my 2010 SS. The rims do touch the brembos and they don't fit. The rims I bought were taken from a 2010 1LT non-RS.

You can get some wheel spacers to clear the Brembos, although everyone would just recommend to get new rims with the correct offset.

Personally, I'm getting the spacers hoping to give the car a better stance on 20" and 18".

OR you could put a set of REARS on the front and run 20 x 9's on all 4 corners, there are a ton of us doing exactly that......I have been for nearly 25k miles.

Can you share more about the "roller skates"?

I did notice that the calipers had what look like wheel weights on them
