Where is the Onstar Box?

Scanning threads could not find a detailed answer....
Where is the Onstar box located?
The best answer I found is behind the dash near the passenger side.
How do I access the box? remove the stereo?
Does anyone have pics of where it is located?
any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I was watching a tv show about this and all I remember hearing is that they said it was imbedded into to body of the car so thieves could not get to it without a lot of time and effort

Found it!

Found it... remove the glovebox, look up there is a piece of black plastic covering the upper area inside the box, take out the piece which is held in with 5 torx screws. Boom there it is shiny silver box.

What do you care about his reason? It really is none of anybody's business. He or she was asking for their own reason. I want mine gone too but you wont get a reason out of me.

Ok, I rob banks and out of tinfoil. lol!!!
