First off thanks to Tracy Lewis for the invite out to bradenton motorsports park. I was going to meet and hang out with Storm and Tracy and a few others I really didnt plan on dragging the car just to see some others.

I did not have a helmet so Tracys Grandson drove my car. Which was really exciting since ive never heard or seen my car run anywhere from the outside.

My plan was to pull some timing in the 4000 RPM plus range @ around 8lbs of boost and up log run the return the timings back. But we just got the one run.

Also forgot to air out the rear tires so running 40psi heh.

Extremely satisfied with the results ! Oh yeah this also after 24k miles on the kit.

The mustang ran an 11.6 It was def an 8 with some some heavy mods had to be FBO.

And yes first gen 6 v6 in the 12's however the track tears the slips in half on test and tune and only gives you your half I was right lane so i don't have date time etc.. not sure they will count it on the 1/4 thread.

I see 12.5 pretty easy - To get to 11's I am going to need to be on e85 and probably 12-13lbs of boost. In march im going E85 for sure so we will see what it does with the aggressive timings you can run on E85 with the 10lbs im running now.

11's maybe with the right toque converter and some tweaks. Ive seen 4-6 tenths on converter additions alone.

Yeah a converter would be nice this run was also just smashing the gas no preloaded RPM - There is very little for the 8l45 though :-(.

I am interested to see how this pans out long-term. I would need to see at least low 12s before dropping $8K on their kit, given the power they are claiming (366 whp).

366whp is stage 1 kit which Is 6500.. you wont get into low 12s on 360 whp unless you lose alot of weight.

12.8 was detuned 40psi of air and just a hammer of the gas in 85 degree weather.. there is some nice changes coming and ill be going for more runs here shortly.

Also, is this your daily? If so, what kind of mpg are you seeing?

Nope, I believe the SS puts most of it's HP to the wheels. The v6 has a considerable loss in power to the wheels.

SS stock is 455hp most dyno in the 390-400 range some a bit lower some a bit higher. The SS has a stronger Tranny and Differential though.. I think GM overshot on the v6 crank HP because most are dyno stock around 250 mine was super low at 238 some as high as 260 even at 260 though thats over 20% Thats over 20% drivetrain loss..

As for daily yes I have over 25k miles on the supercharger kit already install was finished june of last year I DRIVE ALOT.. I get anywhere from 29-32mpg highway with cruise on 77.. my 400 mile average is usually about 26mpg and I cannot keep my foot out of it at stop lights etc cuz it feels and sounds so good lol.

Aside from the transmission, the drivelines of a manual V6 are a lot of the same parts as the V8 if I recall correctly. Obviously gearing plays into any comparison, but how is the V6 (again, manual) losing that much more power? Or am I mistaken about components?

I wont wear anyones headphones helmets earbuds earmuffs etc.... lol But I will be at the track soon, Like I said i wasnt even planning on having it run it just kind of happened. Went to the event to hang out with Nacol and Tracy.
