Great...now I hate my Camaro. And the pictures released yesterday made the redesign look a lot worse than it is. Not too bad.

I'll say what I said before - I'm not a fan of the hood vent. I know why it's there now - but I still wish they executed it better. I've liked the front fascia treatment all along, the taillights look better with a professional pic and not what we saw on a SD broadcast (proper lighting and all that).

Throwback to 1969 - that's what they are aiming for and I will agree, they hit that mark. The car is honestly a race car you can drive on the street. Buy on saturday, race on sunday.

They've done good in the mechanics department. The car just needs a different hood and it would be perfect. I'm glad they brought back the Z/28 - I'm on the fence about the fact that the car still weighs in @ 3900lbs (the ZL1 is 4100 - 300 = 3900lbs).

Still a pig - but the LS7 will help with that a bit. Still. If GM plans to keep the Camaro Z/28 moniker alive through to the alpha platform, I think that I will be choosing that route. We'll have to see...

Need to check your math a little. 4100-300 = 3800.

Then they will start trying to add their own stereo. Then the weight starts being piled back on. Then you may as well have gotten a ZL1 because that is the performance car for those that have to have comfort and performance.
That's probably why I'll go with a ZL1. Badass car that Z28, but taking away the stereo plus that rear-end still looks like Looks like an old Nissan 200SX. I'll pass and go with a 2011-2013.

Looks pretty good. Still not a fan of the taillights though. I wonder how much of the 300 pound drop is from no AC? Always nice to see GM step up. Putting more pressure on Ford to deliver with the 2015 Mustang.

Ls7? Great. How much is that gonna cost? Interested to see pricing for the Z/28, but not interested in buying. I'll be holding onto my 2010 at least until the 6th gen comes out; fingers crossed they can pull off something amazing like they did with the original introduction of the 5th gen.

I AM however interested to get my hands on that air intake though to play with. I wonder if that's a Z/28 only thing, or perhaps available on the SS also.
I agree, aside from the LS7, Recaro Seats, and maybe the wheels. I still love my 12' SS body style, for the price difference i could probably drop in an LS7 and get the recaro seats...lol

In the picture it has a radio, but maybe that's just a rendering. Does it really matter?

They put the LS7 in a camaro. Does a radio really come close to that?

Oh...dear...God
I won't be able to afford it but good job GM and to the Camaro team. This is a middle finger to Ford and then some. I can see this car smoking some real high dollar Euro stuff.
