Sorry, won't be able to afford one for a while :(

If you wern't married and you put your money into your property - how did she take half or all?

Secondly, you should have got your engagement ring back (which you did - but its not a victory) - its what we call a pledge - no marriage - gimme my pledge back!.

Sorry bud - I'm a lawyer - and the fact situation doesn't make sense to me. I am not saying its inaccurate nor am I calling you a liar - I'm just saying that it doesn't make sense.

I have no pics of the Megan Fox wanna be. I will be taking those tonight!

My two cars were leased and could not qualify for the mortgage with them. Sold em, got the mortgage in both our names. Only had the house for 8 months when we broke up, so at that point it was about equal equity or just debt, so it didn't really matter that she got it. She was fighting me for everything, and I just didn't care, you can have it. TV, couch, surround sound, BBQ, art, bed, etc. whatever, just don't bother me.

I still cry when I think about selling the G35 :(

The Grand Prix, not so much. Went through two trannies cause of the sauce

I didn't hear him mention anything about a 3 year rel't, but in any event, you don't get property rights in a common law rel't.

Its called the Family Law Act.

I had a black G35 coupe ('05). It was coming off a lease in May and I intended on purchasing the lease.... until I was T-Boned by some idiot.

But touching on the property issue - dude - you must have layed down thousands of dollars to obtain a mtg. I am thinking 5% on a $200,000 is $10,000.00. You didn't think that was worth fighting over - even in small brains court? Sorry I mean small claims court?
