ok, finally 2 months later GFX delivered to me. Now, dealer wants 7hr's labour to install! Looking for a good bodyshop to paint and install...anyone recomend one?? Anyone own one?? thanks, Doug.

I am not sure if the Dealer is suppose to install, but if you want a good autobody spot - where the gfx can be painted and installed, call:

Umm, price of GFX when ordered with the car is supposed to include installation; If you checked it off as an LPO option.

I would make sure about that one, cause otherwise you may as well have ordered it separately, it's cheaper from the parts desk. (That's what I did, cause my buddy is a body man)

thanks... i was misinformed for sure.i found out yesterday the Dealer bills GM for the install. same with the ralley stripes. So Lakewood Chev will be helping me out as my Dealer is in Calgary.

Thats right, you have already paid to have it installed. Lakewood Chev should then do the honors and get it installed for you.

they are lying. if you paid 2800 cdn for the kit, that was installed.
book is 3 hours or something. actually, how it works is.........................

they do the work on GM warranty. warranty pays the install. i am installing mine after i paint them, and
they are paying me X hours@warranty pay rate to install.
ive seen the tech's idea of paint prep fpr 2way tape.....glass cleaner and sorta clean rag.

lakewood has a bodyshop, i think Rob still runs it. Alex from visual effects will be installing your stripes. he has done a bunch already, so your in good hands.

As above noted, all LPO's are priced with installation included. I also have GFX on my car and I am positive the installation cost is included.
