Look under your car for a oil leak!

Hey guys had the Black Knight on the lift today and noticed a oil leak. I think you guys should check out your babies too.

Where ? What kind of oil ? How much ? Were you running it normal or hard ?
Some details please.

I had oil there the night I took delivery of the Camaro (72 miles).

I had it back at the dealership the next day and they put some florescent dye into the oil and cleaned it up. The oil has not returned since that point in time. The amount of oil I had was about twice what is pictured in this thread.

What I usually do is take a far zoomed out picture of the entire area... then zoom in on the problem so you can tell where the problem is. Then I take several pictures and choose the one that is perfectly focused.

I had a leak when the car came off the truck.
Found it during the service check. Mine was where the oil cooler lines
are attached to the block, just above the oil filter.
Tightened a few bolts around the cooler lines, just slightly.
Don't crank them down, they are threaded into aluminum.

Are you kidding me? Brand new car and you had to tighten bolts to stop an oil leak?

My oil pan bolt was loose. Changed oil just under 900 miles and there was a dab of oil on bolt head.

When I applied a closed end wrench to loosen, there was no resistance..Could have taken off with fingers.
