Here is a preview I made on paint. It is my car. I think it looks pretty good for using paint!

I am also working on a flyer idea for our new "club". May use this graffic. What do you think?

Cool - gotta name for the club yet?! Next time a bunch of us meet up at KMart we'll have to toss around ideas.

And you'll live without your car for a bit, jrhaus! Corsa had mine for two weeks in Cleveland!

jrhaus thanks for your help last night.

Thought you all would like to see them even if they are crude since the dealer didn't call me about it and I drove by on my way back from work and there she was.

Still at the dealer and not sure when all the options will get completed since many are tied to the GFX but here she is dark and dirty... (not to bad for 9:45 with a cell phone camera)

I will have her by Friday even if I have to take her back for the rest.

Just a note... Smedley's Chevrolet in Vandalia also has two SS's in bound with no owners yet. They will sell same day I am sure, but he told me if I knew anyone who wanted one that he would sell them to them before putting them on the lot. If you know anyone who want s a Yellow and I think Silver, have them call Randy the sales manager and he will let them speak for them. No problems with the staff there, just frustrations with the whole ordering process and options on constraint and not showing up with the car.

They didn't charge me anything but MSRP. No mark up.

You met my kids on Friday... 10 & 11 and they will be with me so they will someone to hang out with their age. I explained the whole mustang thing to m y daughter and threatened to never let her ride in ours if she made comments like that. what was she thinking... adolescence.

I will be happy to bring whatever if it fits in with my work schedule. Doing an ORI (for you prior military) inspection on WPAFB this week through Sat. I will be out of town in DC for a conference on the 31st of Aug thru 2 Sept. I am up for whatever else. I will even take a vacation day if needed.

I have the Engine Cover (think it is pre painted) that will go on, the GMPP Performance Exhaust (tied to the GFX), Ziebart Diamond Gloss Resin with Aqua Pel (tied to doing once everything is painted), GFX painted to match the RJT, and Rally Stripe, must be put on before the resin. Everything is at the dealer except, You guessed it, the GFX. The GMPP Air Intake/Induction Kit is constrained through probably Jan 2010. I wanted to keep everything OEM for longevity reasons.

Oh, I have 50% tint going all around EXCEPT the windshield and a few more Ziebart things like undercoating, sound proofing, etc. Don't think this is tied except it is at Ziebart with the Resin. Just happy it made it. I am a little concerned about the weather rolling in this week and it not being garaged.

Took the car into the dealer today to have the stripes put on. It has to stay overnight but I went by after work to look. The lady who does their stripes did an AMAZING job. I would not even say the stripes are "flat". More of a satin finish. They look AMAZING, esp on the SIM!

Word of advise (from the Viz) if you get h/h stripes, make sure the separate the little nose piece so you don't end up with a gap at the facia/fender gap. See, no gap! (search, lots have gaps

)
