coil overs
does anybody have suggestions on what brands out there make a good kit and also have a competitive price?

BC coilovers are good if you're on a budget. ST's are very inexpensive as well (both kits are going to be around $1000 or so). Both are great, can't go wrong with either one.

Pedders or Pdfat are solid as well. All depends on how much money you are wanting to spend.
Megan racing has some as well, LG has there own set as well

Like mentioned, it's all in how much you want to spend. I've had BC for over two years without issue. Some people won't touch BC because of the hole in the trunk but personally I like that. When I'm at the track I just have to open the trunk and pull back the carpet instead of getting down on the ground and reaching under the car.
If I was willing to afford them, I would probably go Pfadt if I could but that's all just personal preference.
