Car is running great so far. Did the data logs and got the fine tune. Sent more data logs back and waiting to see if everything is okay. Scheduled a dyno for Saturday and plan to do an around the island cruise on Sunday so I'll try to update before Monday.

Wow, don't see many Fiero's around. Will be watching that build too. Hurry up so you can start on the Camaro!

Dyno Run Completed

Here's the Dyno from today. I was hoping for more but I found out that my boost gauge isn't accurate (Autometer) and my peak boost was just under 5 psi. and was not steady. I will be looking into a boost controller and meth kit soon. At least its at V-8 power. The guy that did my Dyno previously did a V-8 and said it was about the same with a CAI and exhaust. He also commented that my set-up right now is very conservative/safe so there is room for more. He game me some suggestions but I'll see what STS and Trifecta has to say. Note that STS did say to expect 100-125 rwhp so I am within that range. Anyway, going to play with the car for the rest of the weekend. Enjoy.

For those that care, Temp was 98 degrees, Barometric was 30.1 and Humidity was 43.5.

Nice numbers...........Z
Z ? On the speed limiter...I just did the data logs for Trifecta to work out the tune. I had ordered some NGK Iridiums (thanks ROD1) since STS sent me the wrong ones. Put them in last night and did the logging today. Also found out that I have the speed limiter at 118mph. That sucked

Didn't Vince tune this out? Thought it would be 155... On my dyno run my car shut down at 120 before the tune, so far I didn't get it run on the dyno again after the tune, but I was told that it could be tuned out.

Thanks,
O5G

Sweet! Not too shabby. It's good that you had an SS's run to compare to.

Expect higher numbers in cooler weather, even with SAE correction. Your IC will be more efficient at cooler temps, more so than the correction factor counts for. Turbos LOVE cooler weather.

There's more WOT tuning needed to be done for sure, looking at the graph. One step at a time!
You can definitely squeeze more power out of the current setup from what it sounds like, but I'm waiting for those meth injection results.
Sounds like it should be a solid 12-second car as is.

Yes, he was able to turn it off. I guess the "base" tune he sends doesn't turn it off but he confirmed that on the re-tune, he turned off the speed limited but left the rev limiter at 7000, which was fine with me. But, I have not been able to get the car above 120 since he did the tune. But I believe if Vince says its off, it will be off. I will post if I ever find out otherwise (not much opportunities on the roads here in Hawaii to get 120+ safely).

I agree with the above. Looking at the graph, theres still some tuning left to be done. Try to dyno when temps are low, and early in the morning before it gets so humid out. your numbers will look better then. Very nice though, congrats

No need to re-dyno just to get better #'s. Your results are real world and good for a safe tune. The best tunes are done on the street because that's where you drive. Dyno #'s are just a reference. I've seen big # dyno queens totally fail at the track.
Nice job. It's been nice visiting your Island...but I miss my car...lol

Z, any chance you can test drive a SS to see how they compare?

Thanks for all the updates so far.
