Looking for a DIY Thread

I may be searching the wrong terms or not looking in the right place. I am wanting to paint my steering wheel trim, auto trim bezel, speedometer bezel, and shifter bezel. Is there a DIY thread for this stuff or does anyone have any experience doing this? I just want it all to be black. Dont think it would be that hard to do. But Id like some info/tips on how to get this done. Thanks guys

* remove trim (get a set of trim tools at Sears or Autozone or whatever auto parts store you use)
* choose paint or plastidip (it doesn't really matter, depending on if you want it permanent.)
* Prep pieces of trim (make sure they're clean, no oils or residue from interior polish or the like, plastic promoter/primer or extremely light, high-grit sanding - only do this with promoter or sanding if you're painting)
* paint the trim evenly with multiple coats, allowing the coats to dry properly between each one.
* wet-sand if needed, or maybe clear coat (sealer or gloss coat for plastidip)

Not extremely difficult to remove trim and re-install... hardest part is the prep and painting process... take your time, don't rush it and pay close attention to details... do that, and you end up with good quality and finish....

Ive looked at those and river city creations. I do have the cash, but plastidip is $6 a can. Gonna give that a try.

Look around in the DIY section as well as the Interior section. There's plenty of reading in there for your needs.

Is there a more recent DIY thread for removing the bezel around the speedometer and gauges? The one I found doesn't have pics anymore.
