R&D for LFX Performance parts?

Are there any companies out there that are currently researching and developing new performance parts for our LFXs? i remember seeing MACE making cams for our cars but that died awhile ago. just wondering because the performance mod bug is biting haha

I would like to see what kind of power they could get out of the heads. I have 64k miles on my 2012 already and am thinking if i do a rebuild down the road what could i get out of the heads. I certainly wouldn't spend $500-$1000 for 15hp, but if they got 40-50hp i might do it.

The LFX engine is almost maxed out from the factory. At 323 hp theirs just not much left on the table to be had unless you go FI.

You can pick up maybe 20-40hp with some simple bolt on mods, TB, CAI, HF cats, ect.

Opening the motor is just not cost effective for the LFX for what little hp gain you might get.

And I also think most V6 owners will not pay the $$$$ to have this done so most aftermarket companies focus on the V8 crowd.

Not the V8 crowd can pick up some big hp gains on the LS platform.

Brian from Fabberge told me they were working on lfx go fast parts, like larger valves/springs for the lfx heads, not sure if it will ever turn into anything but there is R&D happening. But like Kaboom said, there just wont be very many V6 guys willing to open their motors or spend the big bucks for internal engine work. There are just a few crazies out there that want to build lfx monsters. I might fall into that category, I want my motor to last through the summer, then I would like to tear it down next winter and do 10:1 forged pistons and forged rods, and the LF3 hpfp and ZL1 in-tank pump. Would be a perfect time to do something to the heads if there are any options by then. I think these motors have proved themselves to be VERY strong and capable.

Well, i already have all that including the Nitrous. I plan to keep the car and if i like the 50th anniversary model i plan to buy one of those but only as an occasional driver and continue driving this one. I avg 80+ miles a day on my car round trip for work so the mileage is getting up there rapidly. Thats why i am thinking of head work down the road.

I heard Procharger is working on a supercharger
kit for the 3.6 Chevy engine, LFX and LGX. Sometime in early 2017 for release.

I was getting the Horsepower urge so I started buy purchasing a IRS by HammerHead Housings, went with a 3.90 gear, I know that itself doesn't produce any added HP but I want to start by going in steps ...

I was going to buy a 6th Gen but every time I drive my '13 2LT I like it and I love my year style ...
