V6 muffler delete

I just got a 2015 Camaro with a v6. I really want to do a muffler delete on the car but i have no idea if the drone in the car would be annoying or not. Asking for help or other options to make the car loud!

If you want a loud car, get a v8!

Yes, the drone will drive you nuts. When I had my 12RS, I went with MRT 2.0.

If you are going for the riced out Honda sound ? then go ahead and do a muffler delete. Unfortunately muffler deletes on a V6 do not sound that good. But if you did a combo like MRT 2.0 with high flow cats and a res x pipe, then that sounds badass. Go to the V6 section and listen to all the exhaust videos.

I agree with all of this. I met a guy at the hockey rink a couple of years ago and he was going on & on about his V6 Camaro including using Ricer math to add up the power adders & how awesome it sounded with a muffler delete. Well as he started it up to leave I nearly puked... It sounded awful.

I have a delete on my SS which sounds very good to me but I delayed doing it for a long time after hearing that guys car that night LOL.

Do yourself and everyone else around you a favor by not doing a muffler delete. Save your money and buy yourself a proper axle-back or cat-back.

I would never do a muffler delete on the V6. Sounds terrible.

I actually did this on my last Camaro which was a 12 RS, I used on the track as well, it sounded great and provided me with the extra punch I needed for the short straights. Some of the guys in the paddock thought mine sounded like one of the vipers running on the track at full chat. to me it was fairly quiet on the highway until I got on it. My wife was surprised on how quiet it was at 75-80 in top gear on one of our trips from Texas to Georgia one year. My plan was to originally remove the factory BBQ pits and replace with straight pipe until I could scrape up enough tp install proper mufflers. But never came to light, and eventually traded the car for a 2016 RS. Which I lost a few month ago due to Harvey. This car I going to do an axle back or something to that effect when Im financially ready, it's costly.
If you want to hear what it sounds like on the track I have you tube vids of it on Texas world speedway and Grandsport and MSR in Texas. Under 12blkgray RS.

I nice exhaust on a Honda sounds way better then a muffler delete on a v6 Camaro.

here's a vid of my old RS on the dyno. this car has no mufflers only resonators from the midpipes.
it was a beast on the track.
